Anna,
On December 19th, 2007, my next door neighbor, John Yencopal, was driving on Hwy 101 during the bad storm when a tree branch broke off and fell into the highway, right in front of John. He swerved to miss it and went over a 50 cliff, hitting several trees on the way down. The last one stopped him from going over a huge cliff. It took the jaws of life to get him out of the car. He suffered massive brain injuries and was in the hospital for 5 months before being allowed to come home. After months of therapy, he can sit unassisted for brief moments, but has short term memory loss-luckily his personality was a calm, loving one so he hasn’t suffered bouts of rage. But those of us who love him know his life is lived in the moment, one day at a time. You and Eric are in my prayers-have faith and NEVER give up!
Hugs to you,
Jackie

Anna-Carin
I attribute my successful recovery from a TBI in large part to the support and love I got and still get, 17 years later, from my family. I know that Eric will recover as much as possible because you are there for him. There are no limits to recovery from such a devastating injury.
You’re amazing!
See you soon,
Kate
