SATURDAY, MAY 24 (day 14)

Post from Gina (sister):

Today Eric is quiet, seems like one step forward yesterday and a step back today. Dr. Long told us to “stay the course” and not worry too much about what Dr. Adler said last night. We are keeping hope alive. Bridgette (sweet redhead nurse) told us about a quad patient who was in the ICU with head injury for a month before they saw any response. Her mother sat at her bedside everyday waiting. Finally after a month of resting and healing she slowly started to show signs of waking up. We keep the same hope and know that Eric is fighting quietly for now. The staff here is wonderful and keep us well informed and positive.

The support our family has received is absolutely touching! A huge THANK YOU!! to everyone who has helped either physically, emotionally or spiritually, we need it all and appreciate it more than we could ever say. The food and treats have been delicious, the flowers beautiful and prayers and kind words keep us positive and smiling. The journey of recovery Eric and our family is on will be stronger and successful because of the love and support from the special group of people we call friends. God bless you all and remember “Davidson’s NEVER say I can’t” (words spoken from our father Mike to all 4 of us kids our whole lives.)

  1. Gina thank you for continuing to keep all of us informed. Out of the blue the other day, Quinn told me “Daddy I’m thinking good thoughts about Eric.”
Robin, myself, and our kiddos are thinking deeply and often about Eric, ACE, and all of you.

  2. Hej Anna-Carin.
Tänkte bara säga att jag håller tummarna och ber för Eric att han snart ska må bättre. Vilket jag är säker på att han kommer att göra i sinom tid. Med ditt stöd så klarar han det! Du är en stark person – du är en Eriksson!
    Kram kram

  3. Our continued love and prayers………. Keep the faith!!

    Corinthians 3:16
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it
often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is
making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.
